Description
Domaine de la Tour Blanche’s Pinot Gris is a fuller, more textured expression of the grape compared to their Riesling. Expect ripe pear, peach, and orchard fruit on the nose, with a slightly smoky edge in the background. The palate is round and gently weighted, but still held together by freshness and a clean mineral thread.
The Klack family’s approach stays traditional, with careful winemaking and ageing in old oak foudres that adds texture rather than oak influence.
It sits firmly in the gastronomic Alsace style: versatile, slightly richer, and built for food with a bit more weight to it than Riesling.
