Les Cerises is Jean-Paul Dubost’s wonderfully uncomplicated Coteaux Bourguignons: a fresh, fruit-driven red made from Gamay and coming from a small 2-hectare parcel. It sits at the more casual end of the Dubost range, putting the emphasis firmly on juicy fruit, freshness and pure drinking pleasure rather than weight or oak.
The 2025 is bright and lively, with plenty of crunchy cherry, raspberry and red-berry fruit, alongside a subtle floral character. The palate is supple and juicy, with refreshing acidity and soft, gentle tannins that make it incredibly easy to drink. It has enough structure to work with food, but this is above all a bottle for opening, sharing and enjoying.
Serve it slightly chilled, around 14–16°C. Perfect with charcuterie, pâté, roast chicken, sausages, burgers, pizza or a simple plate of cheese. Equally good as an uncomplicated glass of red when the occasion calls for something fresh, fruity and fun.
