Description
“Diane Blanc” 2025 is a luminous and expressive white wine from Château Pas du Cerf, a family estate located in the heart of Provence. Surrounded by Mediterranean landscapes and close to the sea, the winery is known for crafting elegant wines that capture the freshness and relaxed sophistication of the region.
This cuvée is an invitation to pleasure and escape, inspired by warm summer evenings by the coast. The blend combines 55% Sémillon, 25% Rolle and 20% Clairette, three grape varieties that together create a harmonious balance between freshness, texture and aromatic complexity. Rolle, the emblematic white grape of Provence, brings liveliness and subtle herbal notes, while Sémillon adds roundness and Clairette contributes finesse and delicacy.
The grapes undergo direct pressing followed by low-temperature alcoholic fermentation, preserving the purity and brightness of the fruit. In the glass, the wine reveals a brilliant pale colour with green highlights and silver reflections.
The nose immediately expresses freshness, with aromas of citrus fruits, hawthorn blossom and lightly crushed spring foliage. On the palate, the wine remains vibrant and precise, centred around lively citrus notes, before evolving towards hints of fresh mint on the finish. The result is a white wine that is both refreshing and elegant, with a distinctly Mediterranean personality.
“Diane Blanc” pairs beautifully with lightly seared red mullet, garlic-sautéed squid, fresh goat’s cheese or simple seafood dishes. Served between 8 and 10°C, it is also a perfect aperitif wine after a warm summer day. Best enjoyed in its youth, it captures all the freshness and charm of Provence.
