Description
Jean-Paul Dubost’s Saint-Amour is a beautifully expressive example of one of the northernmost Crus of Beaujolais. Made from Gamay, it captures the naturally fragrant and generous character of Saint-Amour while retaining the freshness and finesse that make the wines of Beaujolais so enjoyable.
The 2025 vintage brings plenty of ripe fruit and concentration, with aromas of fresh cherries, red berries and delicate floral notes. On the palate, the wine is supple and juicy, with a silky texture, gentle tannins and a lovely freshness that keeps the ripe fruit balanced. There is depth without heaviness, making this a particularly charming expression of Gamay.
A wonderfully versatile red, it works beautifully with roast chicken, pork, charcuterie, grilled meats, mushrooms or a selection of cheeses. Serve slightly cool, around 14–16°C, to bring out its freshness and aromatic character.
