Moulin a Vent “En Brenay”

Not your typical Beaujolais. This Moulin-A-Vent goes through a long maceration and is then aged in oak barrels. Giving it a more body, notes of darker fruits and the potential to age for several years.

Climate: Semi-continental

Winemaking: Grapes are hand harvested. Followed by long maceration(chilled for 15 days) followed by ageing in both concrete and oak.

 

Tasting notes:

Robe: Ruby

Nose: Red fruits and cherry

Palate: Surprising amount of body. Notes of cherries and Iris dominate the palate, but there is a little spice

Finish: medium
