Description
Six bottles. Four regions. One very French approach to white wine.
There is no single definition of a great French white wine. It can be crisp and mineral, rich and textured, aromatic and exotic, fresh and delicate — and sometimes all of those things at once.
This mixed case brings together six white wines from Burgundy, the Loire Valley, the Rhône and the Languedoc, each with its own personality and sense of place. What they share is the reason we chose them: balance, character, freshness and the kind of depth that makes you want to go back for another glass.
Inside the case:
Domaine Fouassier – Sancerre “Le Clos de Bannon” 2023
A precise and elegant Sancerre from one of the Loire’s great Sauvignon Blanc estates. Expect freshness, citrus and mineral character, with the depth and complexity that come from a serious terroir-driven Sancerre.
Maison Darragon – Vouvray “Inédit” 2025
A beautiful expression of Chenin Blanc from Vouvray. Fresh, energetic and wonderfully textured, it brings a different dimension to the Loire, with Chenin’s natural balance between fruit, acidity and minerality.
Mas de Boislauzon – Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2025
A richer and more generous style of white from the Southern Rhône. Aromatic, textured and full of character, this is a wine that shows just how beautifully white grapes can perform in the warm terroirs of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
Château de Jonquières – Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert “Lansade” Blanc 2024
From the Languedoc, this is a white with Mediterranean personality but plenty of freshness. An expressive and gastronomic wine that brings warmth, texture and a sense of the wild landscapes surrounding Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert.
Baudouin Millet – Chablis “Intensément” 2024
Pure, vibrant and mineral, this Chablis brings the unmistakable freshness of Chardonnay from northern Burgundy. Citrus, saline notes and a beautifully precise structure make it a perfect counterpoint to the richer wines in the case.
Domaine d’Archimbaud – Languedoc Mont-Baudile “Les IV Pierre” 2025
Another side of the Languedoc, showing how expressive and sophisticated southern French whites can be. Generous and layered, with Mediterranean character balanced by freshness and energy.
Together, these wines take you from the chalky soils of Sancerre and Chablis to the warm Mediterranean landscapes of the Languedoc and Rhône, with Vouvray bringing the unmistakable character of Chenin Blanc along the way.
It’s a case for exploring the many faces of French white wine: mineral, floral, textured, fresh, aromatic, rich and gastronomic.
At The French Paradox, we love whites that have something to say — wines with enough freshness to make you reach for another glass, but also enough texture and complexity to keep you interested long after the first sip.
Six bottles, four regions, and plenty of reasons to drink white.
