Domaine Fouassier Sancerre “Mélodie” 2020 is a distinctive and elevated interpretation of Sauvignon Blanc from one of the Loire Valley’s most respected biodynamic estates. The Fouassier family, pioneers of terroir-driven Sancerre and certified organic and biodynamic, crafts this cuvée as a more ambitious, layered expression of the appellation’s potential.
Unlike the more classic stainless-steel Sancerres, “Mélodie” is vinified and aged in French oak barrels (including large-format wood), with fermentation using native yeasts and extended maturation on the lees.
